Applique Group

Oh, what a glorious day in North Carolina. We had some rain this morning but it has turned into a beautiful windy fall day. The leaves are flying. This morning while it was still a little rainy I headed off to my applique group. Not a whole lot to show but I have a few photos I thought you would like to see.
This is a wool pattern designed by Primitive Gatherings and done by our Fabulous facilitator, Kathleen.
These two photos are blocks done by Marianne. This pattern is from Blackbird Designs.
A Giveaway Sneak Peek!
Here is another Country Sunshine top made by Virginia. This quilt is in a Blackbird Designs book and was created by Lorraine Hofmann.
Hope you are having a great day where ever you may live.
With Passion,
Carrie P.

Live Joyously!

  6. I love the wool...someday! And the Blackbird Designs Houses are wonderful. I really want to make that quilt but simply cannot decide on the fabric I want to use...I've seen it made up so many ways--with traditional fabrics and modern...with 30's and others...and they all look wonderful! Fun sneak peek too!

  10. I have the wool house project ready for stitching. But then it has been ready for several months. Your friend's is well done.
I have the blocks prepped for the Blackbird Designs house quilt. But then that has been at that stage even longer than the wool project.
I have wanted to make the Country Sunshine pattern. Oh, how wonderful that quilt is going to be when it is quilted. Do you know if it will be hand or machine quilted?
