On the border of my Christmas quilt I figured out how much space I wanted between the lines of quilting. I then adjust the foot that follows the previous line I quilted. As I sew my eye follows the gadget going along the line not the foot. Saves a lot of time not having to mark the top.
I did get the top all quilted yesterday. I hope to get the binding on tonight and then have it sewn by this weekend. With Passion,

ReplyDeleteI don't use my walking foot very often, although I should use it more. This method would work great for cross hatching. Looking forward to seeing your finished quilt.

I don't use that gadget very often but I have used it, great for grid quilting as well. Exciting when you can see the finish line, hooray.
