As you can see I bought this bucket liner that was handmade by a crafter. Isn't this the cutest idea? The workmanship is great. It has lots of covered cord and I know from experience that it can be tricky to work with but the crafter is probably an expert.
The flap did not have the buttons on it. I thought it was a great place to display some of my vintage buttons. Pretty cute! if I say so myself!
Orange, a close relative of red, sparks more controversy than any other hue. There is usually strong positive or negative association to orange and true orange generally elicits a stronger "love it" or "hate it" response than other colors. Fun and flamboyant orange radiates warmth and energy.

"Orange" was the original scent of the orange colored Magic Scents Crayons from Binney & Smith Inc., introduced in 1994 with mostly food scents. However, there were numerous reports that children were eating the food-scented crayons, so the food scents were retired and replaced with non-food scents. The scent for the color orange after that time was "tulip."
This redwork ornament will be given to a friend near Christmas who also owns a cat.

This one is actually finished but I can't show it just yet. Isn't that a fun way to sew on rick rack?

This one was pretty bad looking but my husband said he could clean it up. I wish I would have taken "before" pictures. The finish was off and the wood was so dry. So he sanded it down and refinished it for me.
He also put in some dividers for me to store my button cards. He did such a great job.
Here is a sneak peek of one of the Christmas gifts I am making. This is going to be for one of my daughters-in-law. I am almost finished with the embroidery.
I am working on other things too but nothing is finished yet. I need to get a move on. 
It might be hard for Kermit to be green but for me it is one of my favorite colors. Robyn of Daisy Quilts is hosting a colorful Friday. This Friday I thought I would participate.

This quilt was unbelievable. It was made with 1/2" squares. I think there are over 32,000 little squares in this quilt. Amazing!
Here are the little quilts that are from the above photo. True mini quilts hanging from the clothes line. The two outside quilts are about 3" wide.

The other package came from a Janet who lives in Canada. She definitely surprised me with this package. Lovely fabrics and fall note cards. She knows me well because look at the little magnets she also sent. Thank you so much Janet for the sweet surprise.

I have two of these books written by Judy which I really like because as you can see from the inside page you can make the block in different sizes. All the measurements are in the book along with a diagram of how to put the block together.
Here is another book that I like to use when I need nine inch blocks.
This block is pretty good with directions for different size blocks also.
