Yo Yos

Remember this sneak peek of this yo yo I shared a few weeks ago?
Well, this...
plus this...
equals this.
I made this pillow for my oldest son and DIL for Christmas. I used the largest circle on the Accuquilt GO die cutter. I also bought the extra large Clover yo yo maker which fits perfectly with the circles to make all these yo yos. Then I hand tacked each one to the background fabric, made my own fabric covered cord, and now I have a pillow made for the couple.

  5. Very clever! My mom just discovered yo-yo makers (she says she's the generation that creativity skipped) but has informed me that she has no fabric. I guess I learned the art of lead-weight hints from her...

When next we see her, maybe I'll show up with the Go! cutter (and a stack of fabric of course) and we'll just have a grand ol' time!
