Imagine My Shock and Surprise

when I got this stack of fat quarters in the mail from Free Spirit Fabrics.
I had entered a giveaway a while ago and got an email saying I was one of the winners of some fat quarters.
I thought I might get five or so, but I had no idea I would get this whole stack of Taza fabrics. What is so neat about it is that I am working on BOM from Linen Closet Quilts in some of the same fabric that I had found at a local quilt shop. Dawn just put up a new block. I have my applique ready to sew on the background. As soon as I do I will show you all how it looks.
I am pretty excited because I have never bought or owned a stack like this.

With Passion,
Carrie P.

  1. Did you know that if you put them all in a nice spiral circle.. you can get a much better picture of them all... not to mention that you can pet the pretty fabric in a continuous direction without messing them up.. Ya gotta try it LOL. Congrats on your big win!

  4. That's definitely a win to beat all wins... unless you count winning your Accuquilt Go! Have fun fabric fondling. Bet it will be in an appliqued project very soon.

  6. Whoo Hoo. I had a stack like that once. It took me almost 7 years before I could take it apart and cut it. It looked so cute sitting on the shelf. And I was waiting for the perfect project which finally came along. Good luck taking it apart!!

  8. Oh wow you lucky lucky thing! I can just imagine the excitement and surprise you must have felt! The only time I've had a big stack of an entire line was years ago when my MIL surprised me with a stack of Paris Flea Market. Yep I told you it was years ago lol! I still have over half the stack left - I just couldn't use it all!!
