Take a Guess!

Feeling Stitchy is having a "Covered In Stitches Challenge". The challenge is to create a book cover using some sort of embroidery stitches. I have been working on one of these book covers. These books were some favorites of my daughter when she was a little girl.
All you have to do is guess which of the Linnea books I have done, put that title in the comment box and you could win a giveaway. I will pick a name from those that guess right. You could win some Cosmo thread, a spool of Pearl Cotton thread, a fat quarter of fabric, and a little punch needle box that I made.

And if you don't guess right you could still win this dishtowel that I embroidered. So everyone has a chance to win.
I will pick two names on November 3rd. I will also reveal my cover for you to see. Make sure I have a way to get in touch with you if I pick your name.

Helen of Bustle and Sew has created a free book called Top Tips for Stitchers. You can download a pdf or read it on line. Helen creates the sweetest patterns. Check out her blog if you like to embroider.
Helen just asks that if you download the book that you follow the rules in this box.

    I would make Linnea's windowsill Garden as a book cover so I am guessing you will too! Can't wait to see how yours turned out, whichever one you made.

    I am guessing Linnea's Windowsill Garden because of the vines! I love them... but I bet any of those covers could be created wonderfully in your embroidery! I'm looking forward to the reveal..

    Linnea in Monet's Garden, it's my favorite cover so I'll go with that one. My oldest daughter enjoyed that book too when she was little. Awww, time goes by too fast.

    That would be so fun to do, I have some old books and was thinking of doing some of the designs in them. I am thinking that you did the almanac book, that looks like an easier one to embroider. I can't wait to see what you did.

    Since the fat quarter that you are giving away reminds me of the background in Linnea's Almanac...that is what I'm going to guess.
