I Caved!

Yes! I caved and started something new. I don't think this will keep me from working on my UFOs though. Jenny of Elefantz is sharing a embroidered alphabet sampler design. I love samplers. This design of Jenny's features her signature roses. Jenny sent me some of the Cottage Garden Threads that she uses for her embroidered projects when I won a giveaway she was having a couple weeks ago. I chose to use this plum color for my sampler. Look for a new letter every Monday. Letter C is next so you have time to join in.
 I can say that I finished my snowman, the crochet cowl, and the binding on Mr. P's quilt. I will show the cowl when I can get my daughter to model it so I can take a photo. I am going to wash Mr. P's quilt and then get my daughter to help with a photo.  Now I think I will do some Slow Stitching on my Valentine table runner.

    Wow Carrie! Looks like you have accomplished quite a lot - you deserve to start something new! And I couldn't think of anythign sweeter to start than Jenny's Alphabet Sampler :*D I'm saving them to work on at a later time. They are just too, too sweet. And yours will be very elegant in that luscious purple.

    You made it to Feb 18 :0) You've made a ton of progress on your ufo's and I don't think a little embroidery block once in awhile will slow you down.
