Aunt Millie's Garden

Another finished block. This block is probably my favorite so far.
I just had to show you all this beautiful sunset. I know you are probably all saying it's just another sunset. We only get to see sunsets a couple months out of the year. Notice all the trees in the foreground? Once they start sprouting leaves we are surrounded by a sea of green. Now you see why sunsets are something exciting for us to see.

  4. I'm not sure which one is more gorgeous! Both applique and sunset are breathtaking. The sunset almost looks like fire in the sky. Love your beautiful Aunt Millies and I look forward to them every week....no pressure! Thanks for the bright spot in my day.

  19. I love all the blocks and would have a hard time if pressed to pick a favorite. You do wonderful work. Wouldn't that sunset make a wonderful applique??

  20. That sunset is just beautiful! Your view is very much like ours. Soon our home will be in an emerald bowl again so we're enjoying the sky while we can. My husband just came in and said there was a large shooting star that arched right over the house. You better believe I made the wish for him!
