Quilt Show


Last weekend my husband and I went to the Asheville area in the mountains of North Carolina. On our way there we stopped in Hickory to see the Catawba Valley Quilters Guild show. Here are just a few of them for your viewing pleasure.





This quilt won Best Applique in the show and it was made by Mary Jo G.

    Thanks for sharing. I really like that pink and yellow Blooming Nine-Patch. I have seen them around a lot but never made one.

    OH MY what beautiful work those ladies have done on the quilts--I love them all--but I think the fourth one down is rather beautiful it really looks like a light is glowing in the center of the quilt--

    Great show, Carrie! I love the Asheville area - we visited the Smoky Mountain craft center (I think that's the name) one year - I still carry a handmade wallet I bought there!
