This morning I started working on my Valentine table runner. I am having to do some re-figuring because the table runner I am making is going to be much longer and more narrow than the original pattern. I actually have to sew the piece together, layer it, and then add the flowers. After I do all that than I machine quilt it. I have most of the borders together.

I am linking up this project to the
Lovely Year of Finishes on Melissa's blog. Today is the last day you can link up to the post
here for Nothing but UFOs in 2013.

Love the colors on this one! Which magazine is it from? (probably one I already have ... LOL)
ReplyDeleteI JUST made a runner for my daughter using Flirtations! I had a charm pack and I still have lots of yardage. No idea what I had in mind for it when I bought it.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know what magazine you found that runner pattern in as well. I have some of that same fabric shown in the magazine and it would of course look lovely in that!
It's just adorable, Carrie! I have to laugh - neither of us are football fans, yet we watched yesterday and I got a lot of stitching done during the game!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Very pretty. Will you applique the leaves/vines in the border as well?
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty!
ReplyDeletehi...i too would love to know what pattern ...what a sweet runner!!
ReplyDeletePretty:)
ReplyDeleteThat's going to be a cute one! Is that black, brown or darker red in ther with the pinks? My computer is not showing it well. Very cute whatever color it is!
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty. I love Valentines.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely! Love it.
ReplyDeleteOh it will be beautiful when finished . Lovely !
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be very pretty Carrie!
ReplyDeleteThe runner would make a good piece for Valentine's Day (which I sorely lack quilt decor for that holiday). It doesn't scream hearts but has a romantic look.
ReplyDeletevery pretty runner. hubby and I are not football fans either so I crafted and he napped. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love the commercials for Budweiser though. every year I cant wait to see what they come up with.
It's a pretty pattern, love the fabrics you are using!
ReplyDeleteYour table runner is going to be lovely, Carrie!
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty, Carrie. :)
ReplyDeleteVery lovely - nice to have the flexibility to make it the length you want
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely runner that will be.
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty! You are a busy girl. I won't keep you. You have a deadline. I need your table runner for my Valentines Day dinner we are hosting for our daughter! Alas I'll probably go shabby with raw edge fadic. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHappy sewing.
Sherry
I really like this one. Is it appliqued? Hugs
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely! I can't wait to see it all finished!
ReplyDeleteThe table runner looks like it is going to be bright and happy. I'm liking the fabrics you've chosen better than the ones in the pattern picture.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, that's a beauty!! I would also be interested in which magazine you found such an adorably sweet pattern!!
