For those of you who follow my blog you know that I have been having problems with my elbow. The tendonitis has flared up again. The pain has never really gone completely away so I decided to see a new physical therapist and he highly recommends that I stay off the computer and not do any hand work. So for the next three weeks I will not be doing any posts. This is going to be hard for me and I sure will miss visiting with you all. I am going to use this time to go through my UFO piles and see how I can get the projects closer to being finished. So I will be back in June. With Passion,
Carrie P.

I seem to have that problem myself and not enough sense to stop using my arm;) I hope you feel better soon, will miss your posts.

Now THAT is a pretty flower. Looks like pink lemonade. :) I love that you use different prints for the petals.
Sorry to hear about your elbow. Take it easy so you can get better.
I LOVE the little sachet! I'm going to have to add it to my "to-do" list (once I figure out how to add a to-do list to my blog)! Great work!
I forgot to add... you can comment by proxy. Get a helper to type for you! AND go to your local health store and get some Arnica (a natural supplement). It is excellent for buising, muscles, and tendons and other soft tissue healing. A cream is great to rub right on the spot, but you can also take a small capsule for your whole body. Hope you are better soon and go find that assistant typist! ;o)
hi Carrie...
I hope that your break helps you and that you get alot of UFO planning accomplished.
Have a wonderful Mothers Day.
Lori
Your hexxie flower and sachet are both lovely, Carrie! I hope you have a very happy and blessed Mother's Day - I am so going to miss you. But I understand completely, been there done that! Do as he says and I will be praying that you heal completely. And don't you dare reply to any of these posts, lol! Read some good books, watch some mindless tv, go visiting and soak up lots of sunshine.
Be well, dear one.
Carrie, good luck at working on your UFO's. I'm saying a little prayer you'll get the rest needed for your elbow. I'll miss your posts as I check each day to see if you left a note on your blog.
Oh no, quilter down! I hope you enjoy the break but most importantly that you get the elbow back in working order.
Take care dear Carrie. Hope your pain reduces over the weeks.
Good luck on your UFO pile, and wishing you a busy mind.
I'm praying that you will have a complete and speedy recovery, Carrie. Will it hurt to turn the pages of quilting magazines? Cup of tea, a glass of lemonade, put your feet up and REST. Hugs!
Lovely flower. Hope you will recover soon.
Be blessed
Martina
We will just have to look forward to your ufo projects getting done and ready for you to show us at the end of the few weeks. Take care and I hope your arm recovers.
I hope Mr. Passion (How cute is that name!?) checks your email for you and passes along my good wishes. I'm terribly sorry for you to have a pain that keeps you from your favorite things. Hang tough!
Carrie I too hope you recuperate soon. I love the flower and the sachet you made your mom. Happy mothers day to you too.
Sweet sachet. We'll be here when you get back. Take good care of yourself and Happy Healing.
Hope the elbow is bertter real soon. I had that problem years ago and wore a wide strap around my arm just below the elbow and that helped a lot.
Very sweet sachet. I must make one too!
Will miss your blog but hopefully a rest will do your elbow good! I have tendonitis in my wrist so I understand how painful it can be.
Oh am I going to miss your posta.....but would rather that you are not in pain. Have a wonderful Mothers Day and enjoy your planning holiday.
I hope your elbow gets better soon. Happy Mother's Day. Good luck with those UFOs.

Take care of yourself - I'll miss you and all the great information (and quotes) that you share with us. I'm guessing you shouldn't do housework or cook dinner for the next few weeks either! ;)

Get well! I'll miss seeing your posts.
Oh, we will miss you but it is something you must do.
BTW, do doctors look for the one thing you love the most and decide that is the one thing you must do without?! Just a rhetorical question. Don't answer....I want you to get better!!
Rest is best though we will all be missing you.
Take care :0)

Dear Carrie, I feel the same way as everyone else: please, take care of yourself, rest that elbow and get better soon. Imagine how refreshed and inspired and motivated you will be when the 3 weeks are done! :)
We'll be here, cheering you on and waiting your return, :), lovely Hexi-flower and what a gorgeous sachet! And have a Lovely Mothersday, too!
Happy Mothers Day sweet friend. You will be missed during your absence, but it sounds as though the doctor is a wise one and I shall be praying that this time away from things that aggravate your elbow will be a time of healing and refreshment. {{{hugs}}}

Happy Mother's Day to you too!
Enjoyed looking at your flower...you do some lovely work...and I do hope you elbow is improving - not nice tha have that problem. Hope your Mothers day was wonderful.
I hope you won't think I'm a nut, but I have two suggestions that may help you. First is "Two Old Goats" lotion. It is amazing stuff (you can buy it online if you don't have a local source). I use it every day for pain. Second is, have you considered acupuncture? I was absolutely a sceptic until I did it myself. It's pretty amazing. Hope you feel better soon! I really enjoy your blog!
Oh dear, take care of yourself and we'll see you when you are ready to come back!
Get better Carrie. Applique is so important. Guard that elbow!!!
Carrie:
I hope you take care of yourself and get better soon. Rest all the time you need for a complete recovery. We will miss you.
Pam

Hi Carrie,
I hope the rest is helping. Are you going through withdrawal yet? lol It must be so hard not being able to pick up your applique or stitchery.
Take care.
