Yesterday I taught an applique class at
Karen Gray Design. I had three very ambitious students. We worked straight through lunch. I asked them if they wanted to take a break at 1 pm when I looked at my watch but they wanted to keep on working on their design. Time just flew for us all. Below are the blocks that each of them worked on. All three did a great job.

What a great job they did!
I was just looking at a block from a applique class I took a few years ago, ouch it's painful to look at. I could use another class. Your student's work looks great.
Their blocks look fabulous!! Must be because they have a great teacher!

Gorgeous blocks! I never like to take breaks during classes either. I like to get as much done as I can and learn as much as I can soak up too! Sounds like it was a fun day!!
what a fun class! i hate to stop when i get in the groove too!
Very lucky students to have a teacher like you! They did a great job.
Simply stunning... great job, teacher!
I am so glad that you taught class yesterday and that everything went good. They all look great!
WOW I wish I could come take that class - these are wonderful, Carrie!

Carrie , they are beautiful.
I see you're creating more applique pros. Beautiful!!
I would have loved to take that class.
I have tried to do long curved stems and just can't get it right.

Your students did a great job!
It's apparent that you are a wonderful teacher.
All very different fabrics and so beautiful! Wish I could join you, I know you are a great teacher. Thanks for sharing.
Great results! How I wish I could be one of your students!
How fun! Motivated students are the best! Just look at all they accomplished. :) It is also fun to see the different fabrics they chose.
Must be that wonderful piecing instructor they had because all I can say "lesson learned".
I'm envious that I don't live closer so I can take a class from you, too. I like how they are each uniquely different from one another! Love the block design. One of yours? ~karen
