Look what I woke up to this morning. Snow and Spring all at the same time. 
It is pretty but I am sure glad we are not getting as much snow as Crispy.

Odd isn't it. Our daffodils are in bloom and it was 23* with predicted snow that didn't happen. The soldier project is really getting some fantastic response.
I so like pineapples used in a quilt. I have a quilt with pineapples displayed beside the front entrance to our home.
I love to bind my quilts, I do them by hand, so it is something relaxing I can do while I watch tv. My machine is being fixed and upgraded, so no machine sewing unless I use my old kenmore.

Those poor frozen blossoms - do they need a quilt? No where near blossoming here...maybe that's a good thing???
Binding, applique, quilt block - as long as you are motivated to make something, right? Mother Nature is certainly having a difficult time making up her mind about things!!

I have 2 quilts that I got back too and they both need bindings. I am just not in the mood and there they sit. Maybe we should make a pact to get them done in April. LOL!
It's the same here too, Carrie. We had a couple of inches of snow over the weekend, but flowers are blooming!

I love that pineapple block - maybe because pineapples remind me of Hawaii? *G* I don't dare try the stars, I know they would come out all wonky. Honestly, the older I get the less I can sew a straight line.
Crispy got way too much snow. Your trees look SO beautiful - I haven't seen a single bud yet, and I am looking hard!
Oh yes, I am loving that pineapple block. I'd pick that over binding too. :-)
I'm so over winter. I heard we have more snow in the forecast. Spring can't get here soon enough!
Carrie, you can drop the "Just One Star" squares off at Sew Together if you would like. We are collecting them and will mail them all together.
The blocks are great, so is the picture of the flowering trees....I vaguely remember that sort of thing happening here LOL

Your pineapple block is really cute, I've been collecting the patterns and hope to make the quilt also. I'll have to go read about the " Just One star" project. I always love star blocks in any color or size. Your spring photo's are wonderful, I hate to see the frost and snow do any damage. I hope your weather warms up and the flowers continue to bud out. Wishful thinking!
I don't think your hands are ever idle, Carrie! I have my soldier blocks cut - just need to sew them up! Wow - your weather certainly is crazy - but your Pieris is blooming nicely despite the snow!

Sigh...the radio said to expect to wake up to snow tomorrow morning. Hurry up warm weather!! I am tired of winter!
Tomorrow is going to be a sewing day for me (haven't done too much of that lately!) Yay! I have so much backlog in my sewing room I really need to get crackin'!
The last picture with the ice crystals on the flowers is so lovely. As is your happy pineapple block. :) I really should take some time and make some stars. What a great cause!
