Thanks for the congratulations on my new guild VP position. I have speakers booked through June next year. Yay! I have more people to contact so that I continue to fill in the calendar.
I apologize for not replying to all your comments. I have not been on the computer for three days. I have read all of your comments and will try to reply to them this week.
Wishing you all stay well.
With Passion,
Carrie P.
ps Mandy made a suggestion that maybe we have a sew along making the pattern from the McCalls magazine that I showed in the last post. It seems like a lot of you like the pattern. It would probably not happen until next year but if you are interested making the quilt as a group let me know. Thanks for the suggestion Mandy.

Oh dear, this does not sound good, Carrie! I hope the cold gets out of your body very very fast!
Well, if you start the quilt along next year, that I might be able to join. The pattern is beautiful!
Take car.
I hope you feel better soon. I had it about a month ago so I know just how you feel. The quilt-a-long sounds good. Hugs.
I hate summer colds! I'm sorry you've got one. :( And if the quilt is next year, I'm interested! blessings, marlene
Hope feel better soon! That's the worst! No need to apologize! :-)
Feel better soon! I too love that quilt!
Hope you get to better soon....oh yes count me in on the sew along. Already took the pattern out of the magazine and clipped it up on my bulletin board!
I love the sneak peek. Gosh I'm so sorry you've been feeling punky. Get well soon. Summer colds are awful.
Wishing you a speedy recovery from that terrible cough & cold!
The sneek peek of your quilt looks so lovely...can't wait to see more of it!
Love the colors of the fabric. Hope your feeling better soon. Tip on the cold sore, try Abreve (it's over the counter, pricey and worth it, you only use a small bit), it will cut the affected time in half. Thanks to my dentist for suggesting this for child #1 who always has them.
And you know I'm in on the sew along already!
Oh darn...sure hope you feel better soon!
Mandy has a great idea. I've been coveting that quilt. I was so excited to see the pattern in the magazine.
Hope you feel better. Sometimes the body just says it is time to stop and rest.
Oh man...a Summer cold is dreadful! Hope you get better soon!
xx, shell
Carrie, I didn't get anything but the cold sore! Actually, I've got about 5 of them on my bottom lip :(
Congrats on the VP position and on finding so many speakers so fast. I'm sure it can be a very difficult job.
Hope you're feeling much better soon.
Oh Carrie you poor dear - you seem to have caught the mother of all colds! I hope you're feeling better quickly. That is just no fun. Don't you dare try to reply to all the comments...you just concentrate on getting well!!!
Oh Carrie!! There's nothing worse than a summer cold!! You take care of yourself and don't worry about comments, we all understand :0)
Crispy
You and me both, I'm sick of being sick. Lets hope we're both back on track soon. Love the quilt in your last post.
Oh! Get well my friend. Love that you used the Denise fabric in the dresdens.
I hope your cold is all better by now. I have been admiring that pattern in McCalls all along too and would love to make it. I have never participated in an on-line quilt along so not sure what it entails - but I might be interested if it would help me to get that quilt made.
Sorry you've been sick. And yes, I'd like to participate in the sew along. Let me know when it happens. Get well soon!
Being sick is no fun at all. Especially when you have a lot on your plate to think and worry about! Fortunately, it sounds like you are on top of all your commitments.
Can't wait to see the new quilt. I'm loving the colors in it.
Would love to make the quilt....especially if it is not until next year. I have the magazine and love the little red birds.
