Birdwatching

You all know how much love birds and bird watching. This is a photo of a male cardinal from last winter. KaHolly is having a really cool giveaway. It is a book called Avian Architecture by Peter Goodfellow. It is a book that reveals how birds design, engineer, and build their nests. I know you think I am crazy but I would love a to win this book and if you go over to KaHolly's blog and let her know I sent you I would get another chance to win the book. Plus you can see all her great nature photos.
When you visit her blog if you scroll down from today's post you will see a really neat quilt show that was held inside a church. Some totally awesome quilts too.
So go by and tell KaHolly I sent you. Thanks.

With Passion,
Carrie P.

Good luck! I discovered a nest in our lattice patio cover. I hope these babies get a chance to fly away.

Cardinals are one of my all time favorite bird, I haven't seen any since I moved here to Athens,ME though. I used to see them all the time when I was growing up in Southern Maine.
