More Applique Group

Here is the other quilt I wanted to show you from the applique group. This was made by Virginia. Isn't it stunning? She loves red so she decided to make all her houses red. This is from Blackbird Designs.
Here is the back and detail shots of the quilting. A local long arm quilter named Theresa did the quilting. The applique and quilting are just stunning.
Here are the newest Hop To It blocks from the other ladies. I did not get mine done because I have been so busy sewing samples. I will do two this month. I don't want to get behind.

With Passion,
Carrie P.

It's stunning! Do you know the name of the pattern by Blackbird Designs that Virginia used?

I love that " Home Sweet Home" pattern it's on my list of quilts to make someday. Your friend did a wonderful job on the quilt and the quilting really sets it off.
Those hop to it blocks are so adorable Carrie, what fabric line are you ladies using? I love the colors.

I wish I would have done what Virginia did by using the reds for the houses. I have had the blocks prepped for a few years now and not done anything with them. I used fabrics like the original design.

Your applique group have done it again. Virginia's quilt is terrific. I like your Hop To It blocks. I wish I had an applique group to work with. Maybe I would get more done that way.

You have been very busy. Hope all your classes went well.

Virginia's quilt is stunning! Every time I check your blog, I feel like I need to get into my sewing room and get to work. I love the inspiration I find here.

Last night I looked at Blackbird's When the Cold Wind Blows book before I went to sleep. I want to make Love Letters after I finish Hop to It.
