Yep! that is how I have been working on four Hop To It blocks. I have some of the other pieces prepped and ready to applique.

I am almost finished with this block.

These next three photos are just for fun. Check out these acorns I found when I went for a walk with my husband. They look like they have little straw hats on top. I had not ever seen these before. So I sent a picture to
KaHolly who I consider an expert when it comes to anything that has to do with nature. And she knew exactly what Oak tree they came from.

Look, my first handful of spinach from my little seedlings I planted in early September.

What a sunset!
With Passion,
Carrie P.

All fun Carrie! Beautiful applique of course. What kind of oak tree produces those cute acorns? That sunset looks like a peek into heaven!
Those are really neat acorns. I've never seen anything like them.
Slow and steady is a good way to be.
Your Hop To It blocks are all delightful. I've enjoyed your journey.
I've never seen acorns with little straw hats. LOL
Those acorns are something else.
Your applique is really coming together nicely. I like the softness of the colors in the fabrics you have chosen.
Your applique is lovely as usual and I love the fabrics you have used .The sunset is incredible and those are most unusual acorns ,kind of cute.
It's apparent you're enjoying life. Quilting, nature walks, fresh grown food, and appreciating the beauty around you. It's wonderful to know someone who lives like this. Bless you.
Sewing, food, fabric, and beautiful sunset. What more do we need?
I saw some of those funny little acorns recently too. So what kind of oak tree are they from?

You're so organized, Carrie! Love how the blocks are looking! I've never seen such beautiful acorns - nothing at all like what I've been picking up here this fall! Hooray for fall spinach!

Positively the hardest block so far--- but completely worth it. keep working at it....
Happy blocks! And those acorns are so funky looking-- very cool!
I am hoping to have a passion for applique soon. I've been reading for the last year HOW but I've never done much yet. Maybe I'll learn from you :)
