Purple!

I completed block #2 from Clover and Violet.
I bought these miniature Irises last year. I didn't know what they would look like because I bought them at a clearance sale. The sure are pretty and purple.
I checked the Cardinal nest. Look! three eggs. I also check my Bluebird house and there are three eggs in it.
With Passion,
Carrie P.

Love the flowers. Your block is so cute. Are the eggs on the ground? We have a pair of Cardinals in our back yard. I just love them. Hugs

Such pretty stitching! Oh I hope you get baby cardinals and bluebirds this year. That nasty snake needs to stay away!

I'm loving the purple blocks...I've never seen purple featured in a LC quilt block, and it is really beautiful...especially paired with the teal. Spring is happening here as well. I feel like it sneaked up on me this year!

In stitches,
Teresa :o)

Your blocks are lovely Carrie.

It will be wonderful to watch the cardinal's nest as they hatch. I'm hoping the robin's will be back with us this Spring. Nature can be wonderful!

Wonderful spring post! I love how you put together the colors in your Capitol Steps block.... I think Chloe & Violet were inspired! The irises are lovely ( and their color reminds me of your block!). The eggs make me so happy! Nice to visit with you yesterday! Floncie gave a great workshop... I hand pieced a couple more blocks last night.... Great fun! B
