these two things definitely let us know fall is here. I finished my apple row from Bee In My Bonnet row along. Now to get busy on the coffee cup row. This is only a portion of the row.
Yesterday I was busy cooking a pumpkin that we got at our farmer's market. I didn't get as much as I had hoped for but enough for 4 recipes. I made Pumpkin custard yesterday. Today I made Pumpkin Cranberry muffins. I put pumpkin puree in the freezer for a pie and for a Pumpkin Cheesecake from Our Best Bites for Thanksgiving. I am not a big fan of cheesecake but this is one recipe I do like a lot. The crust is to die for.I also roasted the pumpkin seeds.
I have a giveaway going on yesterday's post if you are interested.

I love the apples, especially the partially eaten one...
Do you just stick the whole pie pumpkin in the oven. I cooked one this year, but not knowing how to do it, I cut it in half and cooked it like I cook squash...
You still have flowers? Fantastic...
In stitches,
Teresa :o)
Those applaes are so nice. I'm making them too. But did you know that one of your leaves are upside down?
Love your apples!
Cute little apples and I bet that custard was good and the muffins too ;-)
I love pumpkin things but I tend to use canned instead of making the effort to use fresh.
I love pumpkin but have never cooked one, I always use canned. Does it taste better?
Ooh your apples are darling! I don't like pumpkin - although I did try some pumpkin soup once that my aunt made and it was pretty good. And I LOVE roasted pumpkin seeds. Enjoy!
Did you make the Pumpkin Cranberry rolls from King Arthur, Carrie? I made them today, too and they were wonderful! How I love roasted pumpkin seeds, too!
Cheers!
Pumpkin in anything baked is always good! Yum on muffins. A row of coffee cups reminds me of a long ago Country Threads project a bunch of us did. we each had a section to do & had to make 12 sections each. Mine was the coffee cup row & I was to leave for Australia very soon. My stitching buddies said I couldn't get on the plane until the coffee cups were done. I sewed like crazy, got them done & made the flight. to this day I love that quilt so much & always smile when it comes out for the season.
Yum, Yum, Yum :0) I love pumpkin baking! Your apples look great!
Your apples look great. I love pumpkin...care to share your receipes? Hugs
Interesting, I have not ever cooked a pumpkin, but I love all things pumpkin...wish I could come over for a muffin and coffee and we could talk applique :)
What are those flowers called? I picked some seed heads from some at church, but I don't know what they are.
Cute little apples
The apples are adorable. I like how one looks like a bite is out of it!
