It is 2013! A time for reflecting! I just wanted to wish you all a Blessed New Year! I would like to thank you all for visiting my blog, for all your words of encouragement, your friendship, and all the inspiration you share. I have really enjoyed another year of blogging and meeting new friends. So with that said I wish you 365 days of success in your quilting endeavors.
I wish you success in making your UFO pile smaller. Today is the day for you to go through your piles of UFOs and pick out three you would like to finish in this new month of January.

My list for January!
1. Make the mitten row and any other rows Lori makes in January.
2.Make 5 blocks for Mr. P's quilt.
3.Finish hand quilting daughter's quilt.
4. Finish embroidering block.

I'm started on a tote for my father-in-law's walker so he can carry his phone or remote from room-to-room as he walks about. After that I hope to start on "Swoon" quilt that I have the fabric for. Here and there I'll be working on a quiet book for my granddaughters. Busy year ahead for me!

You are very ambitious with three projects a month. I hope to participate in a smaller way, maybe one or two and if I get more done it will be a plus.
In that vein I should get off and start on one of the projects. I'm going to start with a block of the week I got from Primitive Gatherings and the freebie that came with it. I have both the 2011 and 2012 ones to do. Maybe I'll swap between the two to keep things interesting.
Will enjoy following along with everyone's progress. My 1st priority is the Wedding Quilt - after that the amount of UFO's in my sewing room scares me - where to start???
There. I did it. Took me so long, now I don't have any energy left to sew! No wonder I havent' been posting.
You've definitely got a plan. Right now I am sewing with "anything goes" in mind. No plans, just whatever strikes my fancy at the moment.
Don't feel bad about the autograph quilt. My sister is also working on one for her daughter. She had the kids sign their names on hands which she is appliqueing. Her daughter is also in her twenties.
Wow! Only UFOs for an entire year. I admire your dedication and restraint. Can't wait to see all of your wonderful finishes.

I say this every year but I'm really going tot concentrate on UFOs this year. Great ideas.

Hi Carrie, I'd love to join in but since I am more a knitter than a quilter there is no way I am going to finish three quilting projects in one month unless I cheat and hold off the binding on three for the same month! Ive looked at the list i wrote for my own post -- it contains three knitting projects (one of which I don't expect to finish), two quilts (both of which I hope to finish), one hand-stitching project which I don't expect to finish, and one cross stitch project which I know I won't finish! Three stitching projects I can manage, three quilting -- no way!
Best of luck to us all! :) I won't be able to finish 3 projects each month since my projects are rather big, but I will definitely work on UFO's only! :)
I got a late start joining in the fun. I'll have to try again next month. Any possibility of keeping it open a little longer next time? Some of us are slow out of the gate! Thanks for the motivation!
