Progress!

I am making progress and it is only February 7! I had my last crochet class this past Tuesday. I learned more about reading patterns. I got some help on starting a cowl for my daughter-in-law's birthday. And I made my first hexagon granny square. I found this tutorial on Lavender and Wild Rose.
 I got Mr. P.'s quilt back from Laura. I have the binding sewed on and will now work on the hand sewing part.
 I embroidered this much on my snowman during the Super Bowl.
I also did some of the punch needle during the Super Bowl. And speaking of punch needle, you should be by Missie's blog and see what she has created in wool and punch needle. Really pretty!
Yesterday I finished the top part for my table runner.
I took the time to measure each flower to get them spaced just right. I also got it all layered.
 And pinned.  As I was pinning I thought about all of you who have cats. It would be a good reason to pin quickly. LOL I am ready to start my free motion quilting.


 I am linking up my projects to Never too hot to stitch! Lynne is including any form of stitching: knitting, crochet, quilting, sewing, dress-making, embroidery, applique, cross-stitch, etc in her list of finished projects. I think I might just have some totally "Finished" projects this month.

    Yes, my cat would have thought it was playtime too..and patted each flower onto the floor!

    And I also wanted to ask about the flowers - It looks like you're stitching them on and quilting them in one step? Not fused, right? Do they shift or pinch while you're quilting? Can you tell I fascinated with this? ;D

    Congratulations on your first crochet granny square - although of course technically it isn't square, so perhaps I should say granny hexie!!! But something just sounds wrong about that, so .... oh well, just congrats!!! It's as cute as can be :*) I'm doing Winter Wonderland too in blue work, slowly but surely. And your table runner is going to be adorable!!!
