little frame

I am now caught up with my Kathy Schmitz BOM. This was a quick "frame" to make for this little quilt.
Look who was in my yard today. A young deer peeking at me.
If you are participating in Nothing But UFOs for October you will have a chance to win this giveaway. Just finish one out of the three goals you set for yourself. With Christmas fast approaching I thought I would share this book, a fat quarter of fabric, and a yard of red crochet trim. Be sure to link up your UFO goals on the previous post so I can see what you will be working on this month. Good luck to you all! and keep up the good work.
With Passion,
Carrie P.

I love the colors for the frame, that is fun. I do have a similar pattern from her freebies, not sure if I will have time to do any more fall, already started on my christmas.

I've been admiring this BOM stitchery. The borders look great, perfect fall fabrics!

I think I'm going to like that little stitchery!! I have been so busy handquilting an anniversary quilt for my little sister that I haven't done hardly any embroidery
this summer. There are so many beautiful designs out there tempting me, but all I can do is save them for later.

Just looking at the border of the stitchery it looks like a fun project.Cute little deer! :) I'm still so caught up with items for the Christmas Fair so I won't have time to join in... Hopefully November will be better when I have sent it all off! :)

Always love checkerboard borders! The colors in the fabric will be perfect! We saw somev deer on Widbey Island on vacation this week. They were not at all afraid of people, so nice to see them grazing.

I live on a big farm, while there is a subdivision, there is a lot of open acreage and trees but no deer. The deer around here like to hang out along the I-75 Freeway. Or in the town where DH works. Go figure.

I just finished that one, too, Carrie! Each month I love the next one more! Pretty little deer! I wonder if she's hoping to munch on some of the goodies in your garden ;>) Thankfully it looks like you have them well protected!
Cheers!

That is so neat that you saw a deer. Hope it wasn't eating your garden up!
