Yesterday more snow had melted so I could drive down my driveway. Since it is the first of the month I had to take care of paying bills, grocery shopping, running errands and going to the post office. What a day!
Now I can get back to my routine. So I haven't got to sew much but I do have a few things to show you.
Here is the quilt I hang in March. This is one of my very first quilts made in 2000 and I think it was the first class I ever took. The blocks were made using the log cabin technique.
All done with my February section of the Calendar quilt.
Several days ago and on yesterdays entry at Stephanie's blog was a stack of something. What was it? Well, it was this tea house that she made for all the participants. This is my first swap like this and Stephanie is a great hostess. Thanks Stephanie.
My tea swap partner's package is in the mail and here is a sneak peek of a little Dresden plate. When you do close up pictures it is amazing what you see. There is a little stray thread that I really didn't notice until I took the picture. I did cut it off.
My tea swap partner is also going to get this bag filled with goodies. I will show those after she gets the package. Don't want to spoil the surprise.
Today I hope to get around to sewing on my UFO quilt. My guild meeting is Monday night and I need to get busy. I would also like to make my $5 BOM and prep some applique pieces.

Your little dresden with the button in the center is soooo cute. It looks tiny...is it? And the little tote...I'm dying to see the treasures inside.
Your tulip quilt is making me envious Carrie, not only of the quilt but the fact that your tulips are probably about to come up and ours are still buried under mounds of snow. But on the brighter side, we're above freezing today and probably will be for the next couple of days. Yippee!
Sorry you had jury duty! I just know my turn is coming soon...eeek! Your tea swap sneak peek gifts look so fun. I just sent mine off a few days ago. This has been a fun swap!
Busy, busy! I love that you have different wallhangings to change with the seasons. I really want (need!) to do that. The tulips are so bright and happy.

What a happy March wallhanging. When I first started quilting I did everything in muted colors. Boy has my taste changed.
