The quilt on the left was sort of a BOM that you could make into little quilts or into a big quilt. As you can see I made mine into a big quilt and I ended up donating it to a group for victims of 9/11. The quilt on the right is made of flannel. It is queen size and it is really heavy.
Here are two more quilts. These are two of my favorites of the Thimbleberries.
Here is a wall hanging I always bring out for the fall.
This quilt is not actually a Thimbleberries pattern. The center of it is though. The center was from another BOM/small wall hanging that I did not continue. So the center was put away for a while. Then I joined another BOM at a local quilt shop. While I was making the blocks from the shop I decided to also make a second set of blocks using the Thimbleberries fabrics. My goal was to work the center panel into the BOM.I came up with this setting and am pretty proud how well it all came together.

Here are some of the details of the blocks. Gloria, a lady in my guild does her quilting with a computerized machine. I picked out these designs and then she sizes them to fit the blocks on her computer and then the machine sews all the designs.
Gloria is entering this quilt in the Carolina Longarm Association Quilt Show on Sept 17-18 to show off her work. Maybe she will win a ribbon.

It was like going down memory lane seeing all your TB quilts. I worked in a quilt shop back when this club was all the rage and I have a few of these quilts myself. The top left I made smaller quilts and gave most away as gifts.

I never joined a Thimbleberries Club but I do have the books still and made many quilts using her fabrics. I still have one thimbleberry quilt I made. Now I want to unearth it and see it again. :o) Love that holly quilting. Great quilts to be proud of.
Thanks for the Thimbleberries show! The shop where I work part time used to sponsor the club, and we used to carry the fabric. We don't now, and I miss those bolts!

I just noticed that I missed your sweet little Crabapple Hill stitchery block...that is so sweet. I look forward to seeing how you set those off.

I never joined a Thimberries club, but I have heard many people talking about one.
Just today a friend told me that she still has lots of Thimberries fabric, but she finds them to dark now.
I love, how you joined different BOMs into one quilt!
No club but still like the fabrics and have two books. My favorites are the fall quilts with pumkins.

I took the Debbie Mumm path when first quilting but always had my eye on the Thimbleberries. Never got there but I do have one book so there is still hope :-)

My goodness these are gorgeous - I love how you took the small quilt and put it in the center of the new bom. I think my favorite is the one next to the house quilt, in your second pic - wow! I hope Gloria wins a ribbon, she did a beautiful job!
I have a couple of old Thimbleberries books. I have some small quilts that I made too. I think her patterns were so pretty, especially to new quilters.
Have bought thimbleberries fabrics but not joined a club with them. Your quilts are so beautiful. I love the christmassy one and the quilting is just gorgeous.
I like thimbleberry quilts, but I have never made one. Your's are lovely and thanks for sharing them with us.

What a great bunch of quilts! I've never tried a Thimbleberries pattern, but in the last couple of years, I've come to appreciate their fabrics. I love how you were able to take that center medallion and make it work.
