This one was pretty bad looking but my husband said he could clean it up. I wish I would have taken "before" pictures. The finish was off and the wood was so dry. So he sanded it down and refinished it for me.
He also put in some dividers for me to store my button cards. He did such a great job.
Here is a sneak peek of one of the Christmas gifts I am making. This is going to be for one of my daughters-in-law. I am almost finished with the embroidery.
I am working on other things too but nothing is finished yet. I need to get a move on. With Passion,

I love what you did with the draw.
I have an old cheese box, a sewing machine draw and a wood cigar box in my sewing room to keep things.
I will take some pictures and post on my blog.
Wonderfully clever of you to put the buttons in their own little cubby file system. :-)

I had no idea you could get just drawers - I love it, your hubby did a great job! Look at you with all your button cards, oh my...I'm never lucky enough to find them still on the cards. Don't you just love the graphics?

My dh remembers a garage full of the cabinets and draws when he was young and his dad restored them. I bet they were practically free then. You've put yours to good use and it looks lovely all cleaned up.

The drawer makes a good container for storing the button cards. I didn't know that you collected those. The vintage cards have some interesting designs on them. You might like to read about the Button House.
