Does any one remember Kermit the frog from Sesame Street saying that? You can see Kermit singing a song about why it is not easy being green
here. When you hear the song you will understand why Kermit is famous for that quote.

It might be hard for Kermit to be green but for me it is one of my favorite colors. Robyn of
Daisy Quilts is hosting a colorful Friday. This Friday I thought I would participate.

Just a few of my favorite green things from around my home.

Pretty greens! Mr. Creations has a Kermit on his fireplace when I met him. He still has Kermie but it's not part of our current fireplace decor.
Hi Carrie, Ha ha ha! My September 13th post was titled the same thing!! Too funny. Love your little tree quilt! Funny, when I was making the quilt the post is based on, I was thing, boy this green, not sure I've made a green quilt before. Not that I have anything against green. It was a wedding gift and I was told the couple liked green. I said, I sure hope so because this thing is REALLY GREEN! Luckily, when I went to the wedding, the bride even had green trim on her dress, the cake had green fondant, etc. Whew!
Red is my favorite color but green is high on my list of favorite colors too!
Such pretty green things Carrie :0) I love your green fabric balls.
Grover was always my favorite muppet LOL.

Oh Carrie, I'm so glad you're playing in our colour game!!
Welcome :-) xx
Love your greens!!
Lots of textured pieces in your photos :-) Lovely!
Isn't it amazing how much Kermit reminds so many of us of green.
Think we all grew up with him :-)
Thanks for playing along with us xx
Such fun!
Hi Carrie. Really like your green pics. Yes, Kermit has to be a favourite! Your pieced tree looks great but I really like the work in the crocheted Christmas trees. What a pretty piece!
Love your greens!
You have such lovely green things, Carrie! Is that a crocheted tree skirt? Wonderful. Love the painting, the quilt and is that sea glass? Yum.
Gorgeous sea glass.
Fun post. Love the crocheted item with trees. Looks very difficult, but love it.

Maybe being green isn't so hard after all... just don't tell our favorite frog.
Green is my favorite color! Your pictures really show off some wonderful shades (and textures).
I LOVE green too!!! Love the green tree crochet!
Gorgeous greens, I was especially swept away by your sea-glass, oh sheer perfection!
Carrie, sorry it took me a week to pop by, but I am so glad I finally did: gotta love kermie!
