I love summertime when it comes to fresh local fruits and veggies. I don't have a whole to eat in my garden at this time. But I can visit our local farmer's markets to buy some really good stuff. Every summer I look forward to fresh peaches so I can make this peach pie. I make it several times when the peaches come in. It is my favorite pie.
Summertime brings lots of thunder storms but unfortunately they have been missing our garden so we have to water by hand. Our rain barrels have been empty for weeks. The forecast is for 70% chance of rain today. I hope the weather man is right and we get some of that rain.
During summertime I have made three more granny square blocks.
I hope you are having a good summer time.

Love your grannies, aren't they fun? I did some as leaders and enders but one has to pay attention when doing grannies and I had to un-sew a few, lol! need to find a different leader and ender project.
Nice that you have peaches, Is an awfully pretty pie there!! Late frost killed blooms on trees around here and apples are half the usual size because of the lack of rain but lots of them. Grapes in some areas are good, others are small. My daughter's tomatoes are faring well but they water them at night. Your food looked so good I could almost smell it, LOL!
What is rain? Ohio would sure like some! I love peach, well all, fruit pies. Great grannies.
We just picked peaches. Yummy! I want to make a pie, too.
Ici au Québec ,nous avons eu hier un peu de pluie, que nous avions pas eu depuis des jours et des jours.
Les fermiers ont perddu beaucoup de leur récolte.
