Spring has sprung! This is my newest class sample. The fabric line is called Deliah by Tanya Whelan for Free Spirit. I just fell in love with the paisley like background fabric. So I decided to use the whole line to make the quilt. I even made a bias stripe binding for the first time.
The pattern is just the center of a big quilt from the book called
Bloom Creek by Vicki Bellino. There are lots of great patterns in this book I plan to make.

Carrie P.

Beautiful quilt for spring.

Lovely! I like that paisley background too. This is a fun applique look with the bright textures of the pieced background. Very cottagey and spring fresh!
Gosh. Are all those blooms coming from your yard? Already? We're still in the dark, gloomy, windy and cold weather, and the trees have barely begun to bud. It sure doesn't feel Easter-like at all! But your quilt definitely speaks spring, and "perky." Very nicely done, Carrie! Enjoy yourself. Have a blessed Holy Week.
What a pretty spring quilt.
Your flowers are wonderful too. I just love gardens but unfortunately I do not have a green thumb.
