Applique Group Show and Tell

Before I show you the photos from the applique group that met last Wednesday, I would like to say thank you for all your very kind comments about my Linnea Book Cover. I appreciate your sweet comments. It was a fun project to work on. Now on to others.

I would also like to share a giveaway with you that KaHolly is having. If you like birds like I do you will want to check her blog. She is giving away a pattern created by Kim of Harbour Quilt Company and some batting. Good Luck!
Now for some show and tell. Here are the newest Hop To It blocks. As you can see mine are not on the design wall. I am back to working on them. Maybe next month you will see mine up there with the rest.
These two blocks are by Lois Jean. I thought you might like to see how she is sashing her blocks.
Carolyn made these next three projects.

Kathleen and
Mary Ann made these Christmas wreaths using the Lil' Twister ruler.
You can see a tutorial here if you have one of the rulers and want to give it a try. Here is another tutorial.

Have a great weekend.
With Passion,
Carrie P.

Your group is so talented, Carrie! Oh - and I loved your book cover - somehow I knew that was the one you had done (a little birdie told me)! Love the Christmas wreath quilts, too! I have that ruler and must give it a try!
Cheers!

Beautiful quilts and applique. I have no patience for small and perfect, so I do prim applique;) I love the little pillow, that is a good idea to make some like that for my daughter, I know I have lots of patterns for flowers.

The red sashing around the blocks looks good. It seems to make each block stand out. Hard to describe but it is eye catching.

You work together with great ladies, Carrie! Very inspirational.
Great wreathes too! I think I must get a twister ruler one day. Looks like so much fun to work with it.
Love the red 'ribbon' in the second wreath.

PS: so much enjoyed looking at your cover again. So happy, so pretty.

Fun stuff! Seeing everyone's Hop to It blocks is so inspiring and fun. I love the wreath quilts too-- I've not seen the twister tool used for anything like that before. Cool!
