Longing For Spring?

Are you longing for Spring!? I think those of us who live where it is cold during wintertime start longing for spring about this time. My applique bee met and it looks like they are longing for spring too.

My #2 son and daughter-in-law gave me these Hyacinths for my birthday in February. The scent fills up the whole room.
Yesterday while I was out I bought some Heritage raspberries to put in the garden sometime soon when the weather gets a little warmer.
I have appliqued two flowers on my UFO project.
Yes, Spring is in the air!

With Passion,
Carrie P.

I live in the south and I still get cabin fever. Love to garden and just itching to get out and pull weeds and get my hand dirty. Your blanket stitched flowers are gorgeous.

I love the applique pieces, I tend to do better with those kind of flowers;) I think I need to redo the soil in my beds, getting hard and turning to sand.

If I had still lived in Norway I had definitely been waiting for spring! Here I'm waiting for cooler days and I have noticed the nights/mornings are slightly cooler. Your applique is beautiful. Love the tulips in the second photo. Love all the spring flowers and raspberries are my favorites of all berries.

My husband gave me a purple hyacinth bulb in a vase for Valentine's Day. It has bloomed and I can smell it all over the upstairs - lovely!!! I have to figure out how to plant it as soon as the bloom dies out.

As always, your appliques are exquisite!

Hi Carrie - I always love seeing your applique bee photos - such a talented group! We are supposed to be getting more snow tonight and tomorrow, so I guess I have to wait a bit longer for Spring. Enjoy your happy Spring thoughts!
