Chain Piecing

I finished chain piecing parts of my blocks yesterday. It looks like a big mess at this point.
I am trying to catch up for the next step in Doreen's jelly roll sew along! Not having electricity put me behind.  I hope to get the blocks put together today. Lots of pressing first!

There's a part of me that loves loves loves some chain piecing! I've got a whole lot of pinwheel blocks that now need to be pressed and trimmed. I have bookmarked Doreen's QAL but in the meantime I need to finish up some pinwheels! Sigh--so many wonderful projects!

I am still in the chain piecing part of the process myself and hope to finish it tonight. Then the pressing which I seem to be having an issue with lately.

Can't wait to see Doreen''s next step and also your blocks!

Your chain piecing reminds me of a hippie curtain from the 60s. :o) I know it'll turn into something beautiful.

I love chain piecing too, but not so much the ironing that many pieces all at the same time. Can't wait to see what it will turn into.

Hard to tell from the picture. Are those French General fabrics?

Wow! How can you stand that?! I can't let them get that long. Always need to cut them and put them in nice piles:)
