Yesterday I taught another quilt class. This time it was Celtic applique. Three ladies signed up to take the class and here are their blocks.

Wow, that would have been a great class - well done to the ladies with what they have achieved.
Wow! And to think, I'm still nervous about making bias stems for the first time, with no knots (at least, no INTENTIONAL knots!). :-)

They all did a great job! I would definitely have to use the fusible / machine method. I was just commenting to Karen (Log Cabin Quilter) that I would like to try applique' next year.
You must be a great teacher, Carrie - your students work really shows it!

I really love that, it is something that I would like to try. I got bias makers but might have been too thick, too hard to turn.

they are lovely! I just bought some of that fusible binding to try this technique.
