So much has been going on. Not a whole lot of sewing but I am caught up on two BOMs. Here is my radio from
Quiet Play. I still need to do some embroidery. There are supposed to be lines for the speaker and the radio dial.
Here all of the ones I have done so far. Only two more to go.
This months BOM from the book El's Kitchen by Eleanor Burns is done too.
Look at these lovely eggs I get from my local farmer's market.
A view of the garden which is growing pretty well. My rain tank is empty so I hope the weather man is right and we get some rain today or tomorrow. I am picking beans and zuchinni. Strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries are being picked every other day too. It won't be long before corn and melons are ready for us to eat too. Starting to see some little green tomatoes finally.
Watching this little guy during the work week keeps me busy too. Damien is three months old. He is rolling over now. He smiles when he sees me which melts my heart.
I go to his house 2 weeks at a time. Then my son brings him over to my house for the next two weeks. When I am at his house I have been keeping up with a Crochet Along on
Spincushions.
Thanks for the advice you all shared about your refrigerators. Lowe's near by was having a big 4th of July sale. I bought a Samsung, had it delivered, and it wouldn't fit in the space. I took measurements but the problem was a wall was not plume. The guys took it back and I decided to buy an LG. I had to wait another week for it to get ordered and delivered to my town. It is actually the same size as my older refrigerator but taller so it has more cubit feet. It has the French doors which I love.
This week Damien will be here so maybe I can get some sewing done while he naps or plays. We shall see!

Love how your blocks are coming along, those are so fun. I also love your garden design, would like to do something like that with mine, time to move the old one and make a better area.

Your paper piecing blocks are squeal worthy and such fun. We have buckets of rain since yesterday so perhaps it's coming your way. Damien is a darling little guy. :o) I think having small crochet projects handy are nice to pick up when you have some spare time.
Damien looks like a little sweetheart! Love that smile! It must be hard to squeeze in sewing time while you are watching him. Good idea to have your crochet project with you. Love your blocks!
Damien is a doll! How do you get anything done watching him every day? How far do you have to drive when you go to his house? I'm watching Brandon the next few days at his house, but staying over - it's over an hour each way.

Despite your busy schedule, you are accomplishing quite a lot. I cannot wait to see the kitchen quilt all together. It's going to be darling. Speaking of darling, what a cute baby. The garden looks really good and having it broken up into manageable sizes makes it look even nicer! The radio block is really good looking and along with the others is already looking like some wonderful quilt!
The other block that you called an EL block sure has beautiful colors and wonderful sharp points. I'm trying to get my points that sharp!

Oh yeah, I think you may have written about your garden and a quilt block....but nothing as exciting as the pix of your little guy.
