Sunday I continued stitching down the fusible die cut applique pieces of my Bertie's Year BOM. Some is hand stitched but I decided to use my sewing machine on some parts. I tried straight stitches.
Zig Zag.and more zig zag.
Now on to more hand stitching.

I love the mixture of stitches. This will be another beautiful block.
LOVE! The stitches look great all together.
I'm wondering if you have a favorite of the machine stitches!
Great job Carrie! You're going to love having them done and showing them off!!!
Looking fabulous. it seems you are making this quite interesting for yourself with the different techniques.
I really like the way the machine stitches look with these blocks.
I have never done any of the wool stitching by machine. Looks interesting.
This is so cute. Wool appliqué just feels nice!
Your stitching looks really good! Which do you prefer with wool, hand stitching or machine stitching?
Beautiful stitching and I love the wools you are using.

Wow that looks great! I never considered using the machine for wool.... hmmmm!!! That would be so handy!
I've never stitched on wool applique with my machine either! It looks great!
Great project. Everything looks good, I still like the hand stitching best.

Your posts have convinced me that I need to start a wool project. There's a store in Maine with some great prices that I must stop in on my way south this fall to stock up. Your work is beautiful. I like seeing the different ways to stitch the appliqued pieces.
Ooooo pretties!
Very nice both ways Carrie. Do you have a pregerence?
Your stitching is lovely.
I have done little wool work but sure enjoyed seeing yours and the different stitches.
Looks great!
I think it is so cool that you are mixin' it up with the machine and handwork!
