I have been working on two different quilts which have flying geese parts. Call me Crazy Carrie because this is a new project I have started. I know I shouldn't start another project but I just can't help myself. :0) The first block spoke to me and said "Make this quilt." LOL
It is a free sew along from Woolen Willow Designs. I am appliqueing two more blocks. Parts are wool and parts are cotton fabric.
This is another sew along from Primitive Gatherings. Another border has been released so now I need to pick out the fabrics for it. The flowers on this top are wool.
With Passion,
Carrie P.

You are ambitious! You're doing a lovely job and it looks like you're having lots of fun!
I don't know why but I always have trouble with flying geese....it's that darn quarter inch's fault. :) blessings, marlene
Funny - yours is the 3rd or 4th blog post I have seen this week about flying geese. And my post this week - flying geese! Must be the time of your. Your quilts look beautiful.
Wonderful
This is just fantastic!
What do you mean, the flowers are wool? Like, a wool felt? Isn't that kind of thick? Do you still turn the edges under, and do you need to do anything else differently when you applique with wool? Both projects look lovely.
Hee - if you're crazy, Carrie, then so am I! Great projects!
Cheers!

your sal block looks gorgeous. I haven't tackled the flying geese yet, a little daunted I think.
Looking forward to seeing your part 4 too.

You have been stitching up a storm. And well done!
Flying geese are always a challenge for me so I am researching rulers. So far, I think I like the ones offered by Quilt in a Day.
