Last Weekend

This past weekend I participated in my first virtual sew along with Jacquelynne Steves. She started a BOM in October last year. I got the first block made but then I had to have the shoulder surgery. I am making my daughter a quilt for her new apartment. She loves anything "beachy" so I decided to put the shell fabric in the middle of the block instead of the applique or embroidery that Jacquelynne is also sharing each month.
The sew along lasted four hours. Jacquelynne had the sew along so that it would give us time to catch up before she releases the next block. I got the next two blocks cut out. I also got some of the parts sewn together.

I hope to finish the blocks up Thursday or Friday. (the finished block shows the true colors, the light was bad)

Can anyone help me with this?
I brought up the comments and noticed that "I am not a robot" word verification is my blog. I did not put it there. I went to my settings to change it but the box to check is still there. I did get rid of the word verification part.  I was wondering if any one knows how to get rid of the other part. I noticed that some blogs have it and some don't.  I really don't like having to do that myself so why would I make you all do it.

With Passion,
Carrie P.

I don't think mine has the word verification, but I cannot seem to check.
You use blogger. Try settings then posts and comments. Show word verification

beautiful blocks! I have also noticed the robot thing on many blogs, not sure if mine has it or not? What I do is ignore it and my comment still goes through.

Wow, Carrie! Your block is beautiful! You have such vision. I cannot wait to see all of the blocks together! I followed the directions on the link Terry provided a while back and I think it worked for me.

I love that block and especially the idea of adding 'beachy' centers instead of applique or embroidery.

I don't know about the robot thing other than I've experience on many of the blogs that I follow. I guess I should check to see if it is on mine.

Love the 'beachy' themed blocks! I have been seeing the 'prove you are not a robot' on a lot of blogs, I hope it is not on mine.

Such a peaceful color combination and theme. Lucky daughter. I have noticed that on blogs as well. I think perhaps blogger has a mind of it's own. I haven't checked my own.

My local quilt shop has a whole row of beachy kind of fabrics. I think these are in the mix there. Nice choice.

That is a very pretty block. I like the idea of putting beachy fabric in the center.

I too don't know if that robot message is on my blog. Maybe someone will tell me if it is.

I'm with your daughter, Carrie - I love that beachy theme! It's such a pretty block to show off pretty fabrics! I guess I'd best check my blog and see if the robot has arrived!
Cheers!

Fun block! I love the seashell fabric.

At least it is just a checkbox and not that horrible letter verification thing. I hope you are able to figure it out and set it the way you want.
