I know a lot you like to knit and crochet so I thought I would show you this tablecloth that I now own. My mom gave it to me about 5 years ago. My grandmother made it at least 30 years ago. She made it for my mom's table and as you can see it does not fit my antique farm table. My mom always put a blue linen tablecloth underneath the crochet. I own the blue tablecloth too but I thought this year I would just put the crochet one on the table. I have not finished with the center piece because I am going to use some greenery from outside. Just something plain and simple.
My husband is off from work the rest of the week so we have lots of plans so I just want to take this time to wish you all a Beautiful and Blessed Thanksgiving Day.

Just beautiful, and such a wonderful memory to have. I love crocheted things, and this reminded me of the bedspread my grandmother made for me. I don't get it out very often, but when I do, a flood of memories come back to me. Love your farm table, too!!!!

What a beautiful tablecloth. I have a hand crocheted tablecloth; but haven't used it because I really wasn't sure how I would go about washing it. Is it necessary to hand wash it, and if so, where do you find a place to lay it out flat to dry?
