Many of you probably participated in "Christmas Through the Year." Making Christmas gifts during the year does lower the stress level. Last year Allie and Cheryl hosted it. This year Allie is up to some new stuff so she has stepped down and Darlene has taken her place. I am sure Cheryl and Darlene will have some great things to share this year.
So I made some pillows for gifts and entered them in the giveaway that Allie had in December. I won the giveaway which was this sweet topper and coaster. I keep the coaster by my computer. I am going to add a sleeve the topper and hang it in my sewing room. Both are so bright and cheery. Thanks Allie for being a great hostess and for my sweet quilts.
Will you be making Christmas gifts throughout the year?
With Passion,
Carrie P.

Those are adorable. We hope that you'll join us again this year - no stress, no pressure just great results at the end of the year.
Possibly not gifts but DD and I talked about a Christmas tree skirt, some placemats and a table runner so starting now would be sensible! Unfortunately, my local Big Box Store's selection of Christmas fabric was pretty ho-hum so I may have to look online!
How very adorable. You are so organized Carrie!! I just can't seem to get it together to participate. I can barely get things finished for myself, much less for gifts ;-)
Congratulations on winning and wonderful prize package.

Did you come to the show today? I hope I didn't miss you.
You know I need to be making gifts through the year. If I had last year, you'd have had a gift this past Christmas from me! Can't wait to join in.
I'm glad you like your gifts Carrie, and I hope you enjoy the club this year - I know Darlene and Cheryl will do a great job! Darlene is already way more organized than I was, lol!
Love your little topper. It is really sweet. Congrats on winning. Hugs
Congratulations! Beautiful gifts.
Very cute. I always have the goal to Christmas craft early but somehow I never follow through.
Congrats on the cute win :0)

Put me on your Christmas list, Carrie! I haven't decided about the monthly gift thing. I plan on participating in the Christmas Sew-Along once each month as I did this past year. But those aren't necessarily gifts. It is a good idea and I should make some small gifts throughout the year.
Ha! As if I can plan that far ahead. :P Sometimes though, when the "perfect" project for someone comes along, I try and do it earlier in the year to help minimize my holiday stress-out factor. It worked pretty well last year. :)
The coaster and wall-hanging are so happy!
I don't know about making gifts through the year, but I definitely want to make Christmas items through the year. I didn't realize there was a "Christmas Through the Year" to participate in, so I just randomly named my plan, "Twelve Months of Christmas." Not sure if I can/will follow through, but it's a great idea and I really want to!
