I wanted to show you my progress of my UFOs so far. As you can see I finished block #12 from the Aurifil Designer BOM. Isn't it cute?
Check out her braids. This block was designed by the girls at LizzieBCre8ive.Here are all the blocks together and all done. This will be on my UFO list for February. This was a fun BOM to do. Each block was a mystery.
Each month Aurifil gave a box of thread to one person who entered their embroidery on the Flickr page. I won this beautiful thread in November. I can't wait to give it a try. Thanks Aurifil!
I got block #8 cut out for Mr. P's quilt.#9...
and #10 cut out. I plan to cut out #11 and #12 today. My plan is also to sew all five blocks.
Here are the sections I finished of my hand quilting UFO.
What can I accomplish today? I will be sure to share later. I hope you are having fun working on your UFOs. I will be checking on your progress later. You still have time to link up to this post.
With Passion,
Carrie P.

I have to go through my UFO's and decide what to start first.

Those braids are *awesome*, and this is going to be a really cook quilt. :)
Lots of progress at your house Carrie .I will try to link up later today if I can I need to decide what I will work on first.
Your projects are coming along! Sweet embroidery. I only worked for a little bit on one of my UFOs. CraftyDaughter is home from school until the 7th, and spending time with her takes priority!
Good progress on your UFOs. I posted one of mine today but sadly my limited computer skills means I can't link up. But I am following along for encouragement. :)
Well done! I chose one UFO to work on this week and hung it on my design wall. This afternoon I plan to cut the little house that needs to be appliqued and then I can machine quilt it.
Adorable braids! Lovely hand quilting. I don't know of anyone who wins more than you. :o)
Good job! I dusted and cleaned toilets this morning so now I'm headed for the sewing room!
HI Carrie - hope you are having a really good sewing day. Your Aurifil BOM is looking so good - and I love those braids too!! Your hand quilting is looking lovely - making good progress. Oops and congratulations on your win - that's a great prize!
Adorable stitching. The Aurifil quilt is really outstanding!
Your 2013 is starting out wonderfully! Beautiful work!
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie
great progress on those projects. Love how your quilt has come together so bright and cheery.
hope you get the time to get into those blocks.
love your little quilting detail.
Happy stitching!
Fabulous work
Congratulations on your win from Aurafil. I have yet to try their threads. For me, it's Gutermann -- probably because that's the most commonly sold cotton thread around here. I love those Aurifil blocks, so cute!
Ah, sewing -- want a distant memory! Even reading blogs properly and letting things sink in has taken a back seat which is why I haven't responded to your UFO post! But mum goes home tomorrow so there may be time in the sewing room tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed!
On my word, those braids are just too cute. Great work, Carrie. Don't forget to rest your hands, LOL
Those Auriful blocks are too sweet, Carrie, I love the fabric you're using with them! Congrats on winning that gorgeous thread! Mr. P's quilt is going to be wonderful. You're really getting a lot done - good for you! Love your precise hand quilting!
If you're not careful, at this rate all of your UFOs will be done way before the end of the year! Way to go, Carrie! :)
I can't believe how much progress you have made already! I won't even get to think about sewing in 2013 until next Wednesday...
Oh, the braids!! How cute is that?!
Great win of Aurifil thread. It's my new very, very favorite thread. I have a feeling you will love it, too. =)
Your needle work is amazing!
Congrats on winning a box of Aurifil thread...LUCKY you :)
Love your UFO's...the hand stitching on the first one is great.
Smiles,
Kelly
